Here is a brief list of clubs and bars in the area.
This region has one of the best live music scenes with live bands every night of the week mostly in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre areas. There are lots of little festivals, bazaars, fairs, restaurants, and more bars than you could find. Everything from little corner bars and roadhouses to elaborate resorts and entertainment complexes. There are many talented musicians in the area and many good local bands. There is live music 7 days a week. The Poconos also draws top name performers, bands and shows. Big Boulder Ski Area hosts a concert series, as does Montage Mountain, If you prefer culture there is theatre, philharmonic and fine dining.
Shenanigans-Lake Harmony is the place to be for great entertainment, delicious food and friendly prompt service. The club has a separate part for dance music and a cool disco with a mirrored ceiling. Yeah Baby let's swing!
Lispi Lounge-Mondays it's for Blue Monday hosted by Stingray and featuring a changing stage of the areas best musicians. Blues with an occasional surprise Blue Monday is always great music. Ray is not only an amazing musician and teacher; he has spawned some of the areas better bands and has had an amazing influence on the local music scene. If the moon is right the energy and quality of performances can be truly amazing. As many as 30 different musicians might cross the stage on a packed house evening.
The River Street Jazz Cafe in Wilkes-Barre can be counted on for a good band. Don't let the name fool you, as the music is a good mix of blues, jazz, reggae, funk, hip-hop and alternative bands many from out of the area metros.
Murray’s Inn-Penna Avenue and Ross Street under the water tower is a great place for great music dining. Live act most night’s great happy hours on Friday
The Legendary Tannersville Inn-Go see thier murder mystery marathon: go one night and witness a murder, come back find out who did it, come back again and whatch the prosectution. Hours of the fun that will leave you hanging in suspense.

Siamsa-Siamsa Irish Pub is located in the heart of downtown Stroudsburg, PA.
