Steamtown National Historic Site
The Historic Site is located at 150 S. Washington Ave., Scranton. The only place in the National Park system where the story of steam railroading, and the people who made it possible, is told. Locomotive and railroad equipment displays, museum, train rides and more! The site is open 9:00am to 5:00pm every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years. Use I-81 exit 185 (Central Scranton Expressway), then follow signs past the Mall at Steamtown to the entrance at Lackawanna & Cliff Aves. For information call 340-5200 or (888) 693-9391.
